He is the King of Glory! Biblical Scriptures describe Him like this.
God created everything through Jesus, aka the Word of God. The Word, Jesus, was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and His life brought light to everyone. So the Word became human and made His home among us.
God is all-powerful. By His great power He rules forever. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. When Jesus shouts, the seven thunders answer. God’s voice is glorious in the thunder.
The voice of the Lord echoes and thunders over the mighty sea. The Lord rules over the floodwaters.
The voice of the Lord strips the forests bare, makes the barren wilderness quake, splits the mighty cedars; shatters the cedars of Lebanon, strikes with bolts of lightning and twists mighty oaks.
He is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. The Lord, strong and mighty; invincible in battle. Wealth and honor come from Him alone, for He rules over everything. Power and might are in His hand. None can stand against Him! The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God.
God is powerful and dreadful. He enforces peace in the heavens. He judges even the most powerful. His power is absolute! He is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come.
He is the God who made the world, is Lord of heaven and earth, who gives life and breath to everything. He is the God who made the world . . . Since He is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, and human hands can’t serve his needs—for He has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need.
The Lord made the earth by His power, and He preserves it by His wisdom. He sustains everything by the mighty power of His command.
Jesus is the stairway between heaven and earth. Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
The Lord gives his people strength. He blesses them with peace.
He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. And the Spirit, who is truth, confirms it with his testimony. True wisdom and power are found in God
His is the God of love, compassion and mercy.
His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
The Lord looks from heaven, observes all who live on earth, understanding everything they do.
He watches over those who fear him, who rely on His unfailing love. He rescues them from death. He is our help and our shield. We trust in His holy name. Our hope is in Him alone.
In the end, Christ will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power. You (believers) were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God.
